"I would not hesitate in recommending Penvale Lake, Langollen to anyone wishing a quiet, relaxing break away from it all. It is suitable for all ages. I could not fault the accommodation; you have everything you need. The lodges, although next to each other have plenty of space in between. The views are just wonderful and the setting for the lodges is lovely, with fishing pools and ducks & sheep, along with their young, wander about outside your lodge. And there are 2 pubs within walking distance. We had a meal at The Britannia, which was lovely and very reasonable."
