Fishing at Etangs de Planquery (22nd March - 4th November) - Trout lakes specialist in giant trout weighing up to 12kg - permit not required. Only 10 mins from the parc.

Mont St Michel and its bay is one of the “Wonders of the West” , a Gothic-style Benedictine abbey dedicated to the archangel St Michael, and the village that grew up in the shadow of its great walls (1hr)
The picturesque countryside of 'Suisse Normande' along the Gorges of the River Orne is a must do for lovers of mountain sports and fly fishing.

For those with a French appetite, why not spend a day sampling some of Normandy's tastiest delights. Begin at the town of Camembert to sample its famous cheese, followed by lunch at Port en Bessin (try the oysters), or perhaps you'll prefer prize winning Coquille Saint Jacques, washed down with a glass of Cider or Calvados (apple brandy) in the village of Gureon.

Chalets
We have two types of French-style Chalets, each with electric oven, microwave and a 2 ring electric hotplate for cooking. All the Chalets have 2 bedrooms. One type sleeps 5 and the other type sleeps 7. All our chalets have a double bedroom and the 2nd bedroom has bunk-beds and a single bed. The chalets that sleep 7 have a double sofa bed in the lounge. The rooms are large.
